On Sunday, SU held its 35th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in the Carrier Dome. The event featured music and dance, Unsung Hero Award presentations and a keynote speech by Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Dr. King served as co-pastor.. The night’s speakers emphasized unity, particularly in the face of the racism and anti-Semitism that shook campus during the fall and current semester.
